Linda Baggot, MSW, LMSW

Linda BioLinda received her Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from University of Illinois. She began her career in Mental Health Clinics, Foster Care and institutional placement oversight, and was Arizona’s first Child Protective Services Worker. Linda is an Arizona State Licensed Social Worker (LMSW) and has served for five years as a Home Health Social Worker and Patient Care Coordinator. Linda founded Adult Care Connection, Inc 1996 and is the President of the company.

Mary E. Carpenter, MSW, LCSW

Mary BioMary received her Master’s degree in Social Work from ASU and holds her licensure through the State of Arizona Board of Behavioral Health (LCSW). Mary served as the Director of Phoenix’s two largest Hospital Social Work Departments and was instrumental in recognizing the need for licensure of Assisted Living and helping to bring this need to the attention of the State Legislature and the medical community in the 1980’s. Mary is a frequent speaker on Assisted Living and family issues and has authored several articles relating to issues families face when placing their loved ones in assisted living. Mary is the Clinical Director of Adult Care Connection and has been with the company for 15 years. Mary’s extensive knowledge of the assisted living communities and residential homes in all areas of the Phoenix metro market has proven to be invaluable to the families and clients we serve.

Mattie Cummins, LMSW

Mattie BioMattie earned her Master’s degree in Social Work at the University of Texas at Arlington. She has primarily worked with seniors and people with brain injuries including strokes and other disabilities through psychotherapy, assessment and case management as well as facilitation of resources. Her experience in management of residential care homes is a very valuable skill in assisting patients and their families with locating appropriate residential placement suited to their individual needs. Mattie’s tenure as the Executive Director and Program Director of the Brain Injury Alliance of Arizona (BIAAZ) has given her a broad knowledge of community resources, specific patient and family needs and well established relationships with care providers in the metropolitan Phoenix area. Mattie enjoys key note speaking at numerous community education forums, Stroke and Brain Injury Support Groups and Continuing Education lectures to healthcare professionals.
As an integral part of our team, Mattie’s expertise is in clinical assessment and assisted living placement for clients who have suffered a stroke or a traumatic brain injury and community education about Traumatic Brain Injury.

Ruth K. Durham, MSW

Ruth BioRuth holds a Master’s degree (MSW) from University of Pennsylvania and Arizona Licensure (LCSW) in Social Work. Her expertise comes from years of experience as a Hospital Social Worker, Mental Health Counselor and Assistant Professor of Social Work.

Carolyn J. Mitchell, MSW, LCSW

Carolyn BioCarolyn earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from ASU (Arizona State     University) followed by Advanced Post-Graduate training in Family Therapy. Carolyn’s career has included clinical coordination of Spinal Cord Injury Programs, Hospital social work, private practice in Rehabilitation Case Management and clinical research. She is certified under the Arizona Supreme Court Private Fiduciary Program and is an Arizona Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Carolyn is the Neurological Specialist Social Worker for Adult Care Connection.

Cynthia C. Kelley, MSW

Cynthia BioCynthia received her MSW degree from ASU in Social Work Administration. She has worked in a number of local Hospitals as a Social Work Department Manager, and has provided grief support, crisis intervention and discharge planning to patients and families in all hospital settings.

Ricki Pagano, LMSW

Ricki BioRicki received her Master of Social Work degree from Arizona State University. Ricki has extensive experience in Long Term Care Insurance Planning and Geriatric Care Management. Her years spent as a Medical Social Worker in the Hospital, Nursing Home and Home Health Care setting have given Ricki a thorough understanding of the healthcare system here in Arizona. In addition to her role as a Social Worker with Adult Care Connection, Ricki devotes her free time as a volunteer with a Hospice Ethics Committee, Home Health Agency Professional Advisory Committee and Alzheimer's Institute fundraising event committee member.
